LCR F2. Gotta be the best ever.
What a top piece of kit. Brilliant engineering and a dream to drive. Easy to change gearing, wheels etc and easy to set up the steering. I had a great time on mine, although well slow, but that`s my fault not the bike. Its honestly the best bike ive ever had. Thanks to Gaz, to Webbo for bits and advice, to Peachy and Chas for thrilling us with a wet riding demonstration (having never ridden an F2 before) to Colin Two, to Chas for the help, Joanne for understanding just why i had to do it and someone else who i wont name for personal reasons. The best weekends racing ive had for many years on a bike im proud to own. Best F2 ever??? What do the panel think????

... you never tried my bike. Does your bike speak to you during driving it?
My does.
I think it is good many of us still think they have the best bike, and this is good.
Bye Eckart

I probably don't class myself as informed, as I haven't even seen an LCR F2 in the flesh yet, but I have heard that they are a bit fragile compared to other F2s. Great now but in five years time they may show their age more. Do you have an opinion on this Alan?
They certainly look the goods in the photos, but I'm just going off what I've heard(notably from owners of other makes).

Re: LCR F2. Gotta be the best ever.
Jeff, about the durability, i spoke to a well known chassis builder that did a repair on my chassis and his opinion was that they should be ok but time will tell i suppose. I cant see any obvious weak spots but i will be looking on a regular basis. I have heard of the TT boys having thicker steering adjustment plates made up, but i cant see that being a problem on short circuits.
