I think they are but I don't know who is organising them.

Try John Davison.

The taxi rides are definitely taking place at Cadwell Park. Obviously the more sidecar outfits volunteering the better. John Davidson will be organising it under a Parade Permit, so everyone who wishes to volunteer contact him ASAP so he can assign guest passengers etc.

There is also a handicap race on the Sunday afternoon which Jim Barracliff is sponsoring, with cash prizes and extra trophies for various categories.

Right, I have just spoken to John and put our outfit forward.

Anybody that fancies a ride needs to call John also.

Mike,
Does Petra have some leathers sorted?
Laurel will be wearing Shelli's race leathers, but she also has a zip together 2 piece and some spare boots (if she can find them) and helmet that we could bring along.

Mike,

Let me get this right - the lovely Petra is going out on your sidecar and you expect her to wear some second-hand ill-fitting leathers!! Shame on you, you cheapskate!!

On a more serious note I firmly believe two piece leathers will not be allowed - one piece only.

Noted.
Shelli's started looking for the boots, so there's a slight chance she may find them in time.

The PR6 Parade was discussed at the committee meeting yesterday but unfortunately what is said at committee meeting has to remain there! So what can I say....................

Any prospective passenger who wishes to take part must contact John Davidson so we have some idea of numbers. The parade will take place three races from the end of the day on Sunday. We will need to see how many outfits are still running after what will inevitably be a hard weekend's racing. If we are short of outfits I have a cunning plan which would involve some passengers taking a bit of exercise down the hill but apparently I need to clear this with the Clerk of the Course.

With some 26 outfits entered we are looking at another fantastic weekend's racing.

Just to clarify things the grid for race 2 on Saturday will be how you finish Race 1 and the grid for Race of the Year on Sunday will also use the finishing positions from Race 1. The Handicap Race start positions will be set by Nick Hooper (Chief Timekeeper)(who I had lunch with on Sunday) and Brian Robson (who I also had lunch with)! Bill Barracliff has supplied some tremendous trophies and little brown envelopes for the Handicap race, so please support it.
