Think trips means Bill Hodgkins???, I've got his number if you need it. Sounds like a Windle wheel arch from the early 70's, Stu Mellor at Martech should be able to sort you out.

To be totaly correct chaps they were Windrick wheelarches and they were made first in 1969

You have to be careful with fiberglass tanks and modern unleaded fuels as additives now used can melt the resin.

wheel arch tanks are very vulnerable and a liability,you would be better off with an alloy tank placed inboard.
