Whats the rules regarding fluid containment / sump trays for classic outfits.

There are none as far as i know, i think its been talked about a lot, but to date there's still nothing in place.

Undertrays are not at present compulsory, and hopefully never will be. However, several of us do have them - so if you are building a new outfit and you could fit one, then by all means do so, as a friendly gesture. You do need catch bottles for oil breathers (I believe half a litre without checking the regulations - which are available on the CRMC website).

I thought it was a litre, but then again, I haven't checked either.

ACU book page 293 - Where an oil breather pipe is fitted the outlet must discharge into c catch tank in an easily accessible position which must be emptied before the start of the meeting, minimum capacity 500ml.
