Maybe worth going Eurotunnel. We are going over to Croix next week and the ferry was £200+ return where as the tunnel was £89 return!

We'll be taking van with outfit and caravan, Dont know the rules for taking the tunnel with this kind of transport. Cheers tho

No problems with having a caravan. only restriction is no LPG, only 2 x 10l jerry cans. Not sure about caravan gas bottles - you would need to check. Otherwise I think SeaFrance are pretty good at the moment.

When we went to Johnville last year we had no problem, they did check the gas bottles in the caravan and were more than happy to see that we had not connected them up.

If you've got a caravan join the Caravan Club to get massive savings on the crossings.
