Seeing anakin's pic reminded me of this one of 1979 South African 350cc World Champion Jon Ekerold. I posted this in the solo section a while ago. He broke both collar bones in a big off.
Back in those day's the only place you could get the collar bone plated was Holland, back racing the following weekend :notworthy:
