Kim Newcombe type Konig 500cc GP Engine value
Hi everyone, ive been told this is the place to ask so....
My dad has an old complete Konig 500cc 4cyl two stroke engine, the same as that used by Kim Newcombe in his 500cc GP race bike. Its been in his shed for at least 15-20 years. He wants me to put it on ebay for him but its not the type of thing that comes up for sale every day so he would like to know what it could be worth. Has anyone any ideas or a link to one for sale or sold recently?
It is fitted with a solex carb and has ignition and all the belts intact. I will try and get pictures over the weekend. Thanks for any help.

Have a word with Big Tim on this site, his dad Howard has a vast amount of info on these motors, I am sure he can help.

I thought that the idea of e bay is that you put the item on auction and it sells for what it is worth.
You therefore don't need to know the value of the item before hand.

It will sell for what anyone is willing to pay for it.
You can put on a £10000 reserve and see how far people are willing to go on the bidding.
