John Chandler & Annette Daykin

Unread post by Dan »

Congratulations to you both in getting a well earned finish in the A race after a difficult practice week with not a single flying lap under your belts because of the various cancellations and stoppages. John has looked after Annette really well and done everything right in learning and making improvements every time they got out on track. Annette has coped with an emotional time but put everything into racing with John and the partnership has worked brilliantly. Robin would have been so proud of you both, as I am. More still to come on Monday and Wednesday.

It has been a difficult week for all the Newcomers and I congratulate them all no matter what the outcome of their decisions or results.
Proud and honoured to be a member of Team Past It.

It was a pleasure and a privilege to be with the team for the first race, just hugely dissapointed that I won't be there to see them improve in race 2, hopefully I will catch up with both at Scarborough, keep it shiny side up and bring it home safe, Robin will be watching over you both.

Dan, thank you for those very kind words. it was my pleasure to have Annette on board and you in the team. i think we made a very good team all round. Thank you for all your hard work.

I am pretty sure I couldn't have gone any faster with anyone else in the chair. Annette didn't put a foot or hand wrong in the two weeks. In fact she did well to hang on the couple of times I got it wrong :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

I have heard people say Annette is a good passenger for her age. Forget her age, that doesn't come into it she is a bloody good passenger. full stop.

Thank you all for your support.

John. :D :D
