I see no 52 is David Dickinson, presume this was before his career took off in antiques and Television.

Which reminds me, I was meant to go interview him up in Norfolk.

Re: One for Daph.
No 29 Mike Nolan was a neighbour and friend of mine, I helped him build his outfit in 1966, it was one of the first to use 10" mini wheels all round.
A bad accident at Croft ended his racing days.
No 26 Dave Lofthouse was a top national rider, and former British grass track champion, I later rode as his team mate for sponsor Bill Slack,
Dave had to stop racing after a huge accident at Snetterton.
No 15 John Fawcett, I bought his bike when he retired in 1970, one of Johns best rides was at the 1968 International Gold Cup at Scarborough, when he narrowly beat Siggi Schauzu, an official complaint that John was using an oversize engine was overturned when the officials measured the engine after the race and it was found to be legal.

No. 10 Eric Creaser, (499 BSA) is still around and keeping the supply of vintage bits flowing.
No.23 Bill Lomas, (no, not that Bill Lomas) had a thriving wheel building business in Oldham some years ago but I heard that he was no longer with us.
No.47 Robin Williamson was riding the big engined Manx outfit, very successfully, with the VMCC, maybe some 10 years ago.

Hi John, Daves accident was at the chicane, at Snetterton, just before the start and finish.
I am fairly sure his passenger was his regular one, Alan Wilkinson, sadly Alan was killed in a road bike accident a few years ago.
