Rang up Mallory today to see if they had got the minimum Number required to put sidecar sessions on(you will remember that last week I was told 4 were required)To be told they did not have enough, they only had 4?and they need more.I am not best pleased. If they need more than 4 why didnt they say that last week?
Of course I am not cynical enough to believe that they dont want sidecars for this Wed,because the 1000 bikes is on at the weekend and maybe they want to give maximum track time to solos preparing for the weekend? No,I am not cynical enough for that.
What I do know is that there is no sidecars tomorow, and I will be doing my testing at Teeside from now on,in fact anywhere but Mallory.

Maybe they've got enough solos to get another session there, 4 still isn't many if they've got loads of solos queued up. Sorry to hear that Tony, on the other hand not going to Mallory some would see as a bonus :D

Please forgive me for being uptite, but I went to a lot of time and trouble,to get time off work,as did my Dad to get the bike repaired in time,as did Ron Phillips at Fahron, who pulled out all the stops to reline a barrell in time, and my Passenger Adam taking time out to be available.
I do not enjoy messing my boss about because Malory decided to lie to me.Yes 4 bikes is not a lot,but thats what they asked for,and when they got the required number they moved the goalposts.
The circuit at Teeside may not be the best,BUT,the management dont mess people about, and are very friendly and helpfull,so now they, not Mallory will get my support,

Tony, Teeside may not be the best circuit, but it offers the best value for money by a long way.
You can test all day for a fraction of the cost of other circuits, and often have the track to yourself.
Better to support Teeside and help secure its future.

For south west and Wales based people, Llandow near Cowbridge is available for testing. Price depends on what they've got going on - if numbers are low, you may have to pay a bit extra for the paramedic. See www.llandow.com or phone 01446 796460. No camping on site, but big campsite next door.

I have booked in at Teeside for the Monday 20th July for my first ever test session on my sidecar. Didn't need a licence either which helps my situation with limited time in UK at present. Information is feely available and quick replies. LLandow have yet to respond to any e-mails despite signing up for updates. Its 6 of one and half a dozen of the other for me as far as travel is concerned being based in North Wales, but Teeside appears to be extremely good value for money. Can't wait to get home and get driving.

£50 for the afternoon,we did and all day session earlier in the year, and it was £70.If you are a sidecar you are on track on your own, solos 2 at a time I think.Open pitlane,so you go when you feel like it,if no one is on track.
