Hyundai Heavy Industries British Sidecar Championship 2016 – the F2 Cup
This season for the first time a select number of F2 Teams are invited to compete alongside the British F1 grid in an F2 Cup competition. This enables Teams with TT machines or British F2 machines to showcase in front of the BSB crowds and on EuroSport TV. Your chance to be engaged in promoting the 600 engine branch of the sport. Chassis are “open” so you can try a 600 unit in a long chassis.
A number of Top teams are already invited but now RKB Motorsport invites approaches from F2 Teams interested in this opportunity - dates for the Championship are:
APRIL 30 – MAY 2 OULTON PARK (1 race)
MAY 20-22 BRANDS HATCH INDY (2 races)
JUNE 24-26 KNOCKHILL (3 races)
JULY 8-10 SNETTERTON 300 (2 races)
JULY 22-24 THRUXTON (3 races)
SEPT 16-18 DONINGTON PARK (3 races)
SEPT 30- OCT 2 ASSEN, HOLLAND (2 races)
OCT 14-16 BRANDS HATCH GP (2 races)
Just take a moment to drop a line by email with a short CV of your sidecar exploits over recent years to mikedommett@hotmail.com
There’s no Series registration fee, a final list of Teams for the F2 Cup will be announced by the end of February.

Or the start of a new beginning Geoff
I remember Dad being quite put out that passengers were getting out behind the sidecar wheel, then people started putting engines behind the driver.. that was a ridiculous idea at the time.

Steve, I think all the top outfits , 600 and 1000 ,on one grid is a fantastic idea but not at the detriment of F1 outfits.

This is going to ruin a brilliant British F2 championship, which after all is proper sidecar racing.
Anyhow since 1957
