Is was taken at Llandow back in 1979/1980, owner and driver was Les Tampin and his passenger was Darah Brady they rode with the North Gloucester club doing the RAF airfeiilds around the south West of England. The outfit was in John player special black and gold and had a Triumph engine.
Les bought it from Denis Seviuor from Frome in Somerset but later he either sold it or swaped it for a rear exit Imp from Burton on Trent. My mate Steve would be very greatful if anybody has any information on the Triumph sidecar as he lost his Dad three years ago and would like to find out more about it and would be very interested if it was for sale as he'd love to get it back into family ownership.
Hi im Tony Seviour Denis is my Dad ....i will find out what happened to it tonight for you and post on here .......the jps colours are what Dad sprayed them on our kitchen table at home .....i remember my Mum went through the roof when she saw the spray dust around the kitchen......Denis is rebuilding a Suzuki GT750 boiler outfit at the moment......great memories .....
Hi Andy, The bike was sold to a chap up in Scotland and Les then bought a NSU outfit.....i think Steve may already know this info ......the two guys from Scotland came down and picked it up and paid cash so i dont think Les would of kept any details of where about's they were from up there......You could try some of the sidecar clubs up north........Happy Hunting
