Laptop Issues (Yoshi EM Pro)

Unread post by Belly »

I'm after some urgent assistance in getting my computer to talk to the ECU or Vice versa using Yoshi EM Pro. We need to modify our mapping slightly and swap maps for a different spec engine but the driver software for my lead isn't allowing the ECU and Laptop to connect to each other!! Has anyone over come this issue? I spent 3 hrs last night with Dave Schofield kindly helping me remotely but we still cant get it going...

I've tried two laptops including a recently installed Windows XP laptop without any joy!!

I recently had loads of problems connecting. Found that disconnecting and rebooting a couple of times helped. Also if I remember correctly there is a known driver issue, I run a K8 and has to change the driver from the one provided. XP is the way ahead for these too.

Keith and Andy at Dynotech were experts at sorting it.

Phil, have you selected the correct port so the software can talk to the pc, I know I had some initial problems but found it was just the correct port number that was needed selected in the software.

cheers Paul
