ACU/FSRA British F2 - Battle Of Britain - Croft Meeting

Unread post by Big Tim »

Round 5 of the ACU/FSRA British F2 Sidecar championship takes place at Croft on Saturday/Sunday 27/28 August Bank Holiday weekend

From Pat

I hear plenty of comments from teams proclaiming there's not much racing on over some weekends in August ... also around this time of year many F2 sidecar teams are starting to think ahead to next season. We often get asked if they can "test their toes in the water", so to speak and enter as a "wild card". The answer is "YES" so if you have an F2/F600 and would like to have a run out at Croft, now is your chance.

The Croft meeting is held in conjunction with The Darlington Car Club and N.E.M.C.R.C. and known as the "Battle of Britain" meeting. Last year was a great success, and we were made very welcome by the Darlington Car Club, many of whom had not seen the likes of the performances given by our passengers! The British F2 races are the only sidecar races at this event, there are also a couple of solo classes along with races for the car classes. In 2015, many of our competitors and teams commented it was the most enjoyable and unique meeting of the year.

Currently we are trying to confirm a test day for the Friday and details will be announced shortly if this can be arranged

If anyone would like regs or more information on a wild card entry or about the 2017 ACU/ FSRA British F2 Sidecar Championship please contact Pat directly OR respond in the thread below.
