MCN Fantasy Road Race 2017

Unread post by ronno »

Bit late again this year , but now up and running , so might be best for everyone to register a team as soon as possible - teams can be changed any time up to the cut-off point of 24 Feb , so best advice is get in early ,then change team around. ;)
I was able to use 2016 log in details this time , hopefully any that took part last year will also be able to !

http://fantasyrace.motorcyclenews.com/default.aspx

Select your team , then join our mini league "Steve's Place" , password , same as last year = brompton

A few pointers for the uninitiated , more on the website.....

MCN Fantasy Road Race game is based on the MotoGP, World Superbikes and British Superbikes 2017 seasons.
The competition starts with the first round of the World Superbikes on 25th February 2017 and will run through to the final race of MotoGP, World Superbikes and British Superbikes 2017 season. Points will be scored based on the real-life performances of the selected riders in your Fantasy Road Race team.
You may enter 1 (one) team per entrant. Any entrant found to have entered more than 1 team will be disqualified and removed from the game. You can join the game at any point throughout the competition. However you will not score points until your team is submitted.
Up until the team submission deadline of 20:01 GMT on Friday 24th February 2017 there is a free transfer window - until this time, you can shuffle your team around to your heart's content without using any of your transfers. However, any transfers made after this time will be taken from your transfer allocation for that period.

Every single team is automatically entered into the Overall Competition. However, you can also enter your team into a private mini-league for you and your friends and colleagues.
To do this, just log on to your team and visit the 'Join a League' page under the 'League' section of the website.
You can join up to 10 mini-leagues, however you can only be the chairman of 3 mini-leagues. Once you have joined a mini-league, you cannot be moved or deleted - so choose your leagues carefully!

There we go, I think I have done that correctly this year. Struggled to enter the league last year.

I did , Keith , and have done some trawling around to see if it is genuine... Seems it might be , and seems to be from Bauer Media, but there is a clickable link that might be dodgy.
Seems odd that there is nothing yet on the game site , apparently there have been some scoring cock-ups so that might be the reason .
All will be clearer in a few days , possibly ;)

Another email today ...........

"We have great news! MCN's Fantasy Road Race is back up and running again and you should still be able to login and access the game as normal.

Apologies for the temporary closure last weekend but the good news is that the codes we've sent for the MCN Festival are still available for you to use and take advantage of this fantastic offer. "
