That's that done with then, Mr Carrick legs it with £sssssss of Welsh taxpayers money & Moto gp says "Thanks very much"
A company that has been integral to the the Circuit of Wales project is facing a winding-up petition in the High Court and has confirmed that it will not be involved in the future of the racetrack scheme.
Aventa Capital Partners is in talks with its creditors while it develops a “restructuring proposal” and its website is no longer publicly available.
The company is solely owned by Michael Carrick, the frontman for the project to build a £430m autosport racetrack on moorland above Ebbw Vale.
Before Aventa’s website was taken down, it used to describe the Circuit of Wales as “motorsport circuit being developed in partnership between Aventa and the Welsh Government”.
In June the Welsh Government decided not to underwrite a £210m loan to the Circuit of Wales, after concluding it posed too great a risk to public funds and would create only around 115 jobs in its first phase.

Re: circuit of wales
The only surprise is that it has taken as long as it has to get this far. It was always a scam no validity anywhere, DS pointed the clever facts out ages ago.
If you noticed at the UK MotoGP this year, the CoW 'branding' was nowhere to be seen, anywhere (and I was really looking), as it was previously, my my how strange is that!
By winding the company up, the UKGP rights will be up for grabs (early, so Dorna get an early christmas pressie - for an unexpected 'early days' contract) as the existing rights contract will die with the company, expect to see a revitalised Donnington bid appear now that JP has a long operation lease to play with and provide supporting funding.
Just a pity that Carrick will have trousered any remaining money left over from this year's event.
Good riddance.
