Remembering Robin on the sixth anniversary of his leaving all his friends and admirers in the sidecar family, not to mention all the spectators and racing fans from all around the world who held him and Annette in great esteem.
The sidecar scene needs people like Robin to spread the word and encourage both young and old to give our fantastic sport a go. He was often heard telling would be racers “Don't THINK about doing it, DO IT”. And there are quite a few drivers and passengers still on the race tracks now who have Robin to thank for getting them started.
A great character, story teller, inspiration and friend to many he is still missed and leaves a big gap in the sidecar paddock
Thoughts are with Annette as always.

Well said Dan.
Robin was a brilliant chap. Always happy to help with parts or advice and always with a big smile on his face.
A true legend.
long may he be in our thoughts.
