What a desperately sad day.
Bill Currie: Friend and one of my childhood heroes.
Kevin Morgan: Good friend for more years than I can remember - Thanks for all the laughs mate.
Gentlemen both. RIP.
Condolences to friends and family from the Knight family.

Re: Derek Jones at Snett
Thanks Steve - A big help!
I think this is the bike we are (very) slowly restoring.
If anyone can confirm that this is the bike Derek reversed into the armco at high speed (At Brands, coming onto start straight I think?), then this is indeed the bike we now have (again), with the repaired/rebuilt ...

Re: Mick Barton
Thank you Folks
Just had an email from Frank - you made him a happy man!
(Not that he wasn't anyway - in fact he's one of the paddocks most cheerful characters).
Takes a mean photo too!

Mick Barton
German Motorcycle Road Race historian Frank Bischoff would like to make contact with an old sidecar friend, Mick Barton.
I'm sure I've seen some posts on here from him somewhere, but can't remember his user name.
Can anyone help with email address and/or contact number that I can send to Frank ...

Re: Yoshisada Kumagaya
I saw Yoshi at Sachsenring (Moto GP) in 2006.
He couldn't believe it when he saw me, Billy Gallros and Adolf Hanni all still riding.
I saw Yoshi again at Sachsenring this year.
Yoshi is engineer for Nissin brakes and covers the Moto GP's (amongst other events).
You can see his picture here:
