The bike is available complete and ready to race with a very low use standard FIM spec GSXR1000 K8, built by Stewart Johnstone at NME, or without engine.

I think this is the bike we are (very) slowly restoring.
If anyone can confirm that this is the bike Derek reversed into the armco at high speed (At Brands, coming onto start straight I think?), then this is indeed the bike we now have (again), with the repaired/rebuilt ...

I saw Yoshi at Sachsenring (Moto GP) in 2006.
He couldn't believe it when he saw me, Billy Gallros and Adolf Hanni all still riding.
I saw Yoshi again at Sachsenring this year.
Yoshi is engineer for Nissin brakes and covers the Moto GP's (amongst other events).

I'm pretty sure Webbo has this bike now and is putting a TZ500 in it - it was found recently in a barn with a GPz900 in it

Also in same race into the first turn off the start a certain Gary Knight crashed having been run into by another outfit, was that the same Gary Knight racing now? Also his passenger was Phil Coombes, is he related to Steve Coombes who races an F2 now?
