Hi,
Back in the mid 2000's i campaigned a Windle outfit with a YPVS/Banshee hybrid engine, and wondered if anyone knew what happened to it? I sold it to Alan Longshaw when i packed up racing.
Any leads appreciated.
Cheers Ian Arnold

Re: Getting started, by Nev Jones
Hi,
I'm thinking of returning to the fold after 10 years away(F350 and F2) and my prospective passenger has never even sat on a moving sidecar, but is game!
Before I substantially reduce the balance in my bank account only to find he hates it, is there an upcoming event where he could get a taxi ...

Hi,
Thought I'd seen a thread on this subject but can't seem to find it.
Thinking of buying a sidecar via the ads on here from abroad, aware of NOVA1 but does that apply to race vehicles, what are the pitfalls, is tax payable, what receipts are needed.
You know the series of questions that need ...

Re: The infamous Eddie Wright Windle
Owned this some years back with a Banshee top end on a ypvs bottom, dyno'd at 90 bhp and to blame for the anodized wheels.
Would love it back but garage rather full unless you fancy a deal on a Laverda 1200 Mirage. Ian.

Re: 10" chassis for sale
Is it possible to have a photo of the leading link forks, do they attach to main frame or are parts missing. Are the hubs standard mini? not familiar with small wheel stuff.
Sorry to ask but too far to go just to look, cheers, Ian

Rolling diameters
If i change from an avon 7.2/20-13 to a yokohama 170/500-13 ( got them for free!) the rolling diameters are different by 8mm or a ride height difference of 4mm.
should i run slightly higher tyre pressure to compensate or at my lowly level will i not even notice, my frame doesnt have ride height ...

Re: wheel builder/parts

picture of wheels, the hubs are similar to windle halves, it is just the cast centres.

Hi Folks,
posting it here as the outfit is a Milligan from 1984 and i was told it used to hold a TZ750 motor but now has an R6.
However, my question relates to the wheels, the hubs has " Comp Auto Ltd" and "No.6 Hub" cast into them.
does anybody know the history of these, i thought compomotive ...

Re: Can we run tuned engines in club FII
Reading my 2010 ACU bluebook for F11 sidecars ( always got my finger on the pulse) it was a rule in 2010 season to have oil containment upto 10? mm from the exhaust port , so in theory that isnt a change but i havent seen any bikes in the pits with such a large tray.

i think the outfit looks well sweet, and sounds like it will get plenty of use, which is why they were built in the first place - well done
