heard there were depleted grids after the 1st lap, 1st corner incident but heard nothing else. Dunno who won or anything :roll: 8-)

There was a big crash at Paddock Hill on the first lap of the first race.

Ian and Kevin came off worst, Ian broken ankle and other leg and Kevin broken foot and hand.

The race was restarted and results are:

Not the come back we hoped for and a weekend to forget :( Shame really as the turnout was great,the weather was much better than forecast too and we were almost in holiday mood planning on going to Chimay this morning :roll:

Yep, Yep, what a meeting. A-bloody-mazing. Great circuit, good weather, Huuuge grid, I looked behind on the start of the first race and it went on for ages.
Also had a ring side seat for the pile up in the first corner and wow what a spectacle that was, outfits and bodies everywhere. It was such a relief when we found out that the injuries were not too serious and when Ian and Kevin turned up for the Gristwood party in the evening there was such a cheer.
And the party... what a hoot (well done the gristwood gang). Ben Gray made the most of a fragged motor by getting totally waisted at the do, well done mate you looked a complete shambles :lol: :lol:
Oh yeh, we managed to break our duck and finish a race. Couldn't believe it. Ticked every box before 11:30 on a sunday morning :shock: (snigger)
IT WAS ACE.......
Next stop Chimay, can't wait....

Just spoke with Grant and he is now on his way home after a two day stay in hospital. Sounds like his arm was pretty badly broken as the op was over 5 hours!
