Right Ive wired it up and its only working intermitently, the old one was the same. (thats why I got a new one). I've tried another igniter unit and its still the same. Is it something to do with running total loss ignition, and not having enough voltage for some reason?

It's only working intermitently because the throttle position sensor is either not wired / disconected or faulty. The sensor must be conected for the rev counter to work properly otherwise it goes into Fault find mode and the fault it is showing is the sensor.I trust it is working on occasion then only running from 0 rpm to 4000/5000 rpm.

There used to be manuals in the download section but they seem to have disappeared.

Sorry Richard! Renamed the category to 'Documentation' as I added stuff that wasn't a manual but kind of fitted in.

Am fine Alan mate and you ?
if you dont have a thottle position sensor fitted mate the tacho will never work properly so that may have gone faulty causing the problem with your old one.It doesnt have to work as intended but must be fitted in order for the tacho to work properly.Just set the position sensor to 6000 rpm and lock it up and that will do nicely then your tacho should work properly. If you need any help how to set it up just pm me and i will send you the info on how to do it.I'ts quite easy to do

Hey, I had the exact same problem! I found it was the sensor on the keihin flatslides that was giving it the error, couldnt fix it so got a AIM mychron4 dash and wired it up. No more dramas!
