, even though the low number of accepted sidecar entries

left a bit to be desired. But those that did manage to get a run put on a good show

Robin was fairly keen on keeping records of his outfits and racing and Annette will try to turn up something on the Windle from these. Although we have loads of photos of the later Ireson, with and without fairings, photos of the naked Windle are not as forthcoming. I have turned up two which were taken at Anglesey in 2008 but don't know if they will be any use in identifying the age of the chassis.

I thought you might have got rid of all your old receipts by now so you aren't reminded about how much of your future pension fund was invested in racing instead of the stock market
