Just received a Media Release from The Scarborough organisers which state that Micky D is entered to race
in the Sidecars as well as the solo's at the Ian Watson Spring Cup.
Also entered is Molly, should be fun!!!!

I bought a Trident Metisse frame from John Judge back in the early ninetys, I would like ask John a question about it

Weston is Brilliant but the best I ever saw was Jock Taylor when he set the outright lap record at
Knockhill and at my very first race meeting Crimond 1971, Mac Hobson on his Cowie BSA in the handicap
race, he started about a lap behind everybody else and if my mind is not playing tricks he won it ...

The other week I sent an email to the secretary of the CRMB enquiring about licence for smelly solo.
He came back and said two meetings this year Chimay and Gedinne, I have made further enquires
and definately no Mettet Road circuit and no Classics at Mettet Short Circuit due to losses last year ...

Found these on youtube via monkeyplanet, no wonder they turn right at the garage at Mettet
now and dont go the long way round....

Bit more strick to get a licence these days back in the early 80's when I went for a medical for
an SACU roadrace licence, the doc asked what I was there for and I said a medical he signed the
form without checking me out, when I asked why he said your hearing is good as you walked in

The Late Bob Steel raced a solo Konig in Scotland in the 70's Fast but unreliable, Think Alistair Lewis
had one at one time if memory serves me right, he certainly raced an outfit with the chair on the wrong
side at one time and I think it was a Konig, will have to check the old programs!!!
