Morning all, I have just checked with MD and sidecars have test sessions available all day at Cadwell revival. You choose to book all day or half day!
Timetables correct at time of print – check the link above for Meeting Info to be double sure!
As of 25th July we are now on v4 of the timetable.
It is with a great sadness that I have been asked to let everyone know that Jenny Wells has passed away this morning after a very short battle with cancer.
I am in a state of shock here. The last I heard from Jen was not that long ago when she was saying she wouldn’t be doing any more photography due to illness and then just days ago that she was too weak for treatment.
Jen my friend, you will be missed at race meetings.
Not only for the photos you loved taking and that were appreciated so much by so many, but for the proper laughs we had at circuits everywhere, if ever there was a chance to laugh at anything I got wrong you were always there.
Details of further arrangements will be posted when they are ready. I will see you all at The Revival
I’ll have one or maybe even two for you there Jen, and I won’t be alone in doing so. xx
I had to include a few shots 😉 ..

The championship visited the popular circuit of Anglesey for the first time in three years – owing to Covid-19 restrictions preventing a round at the Welsh island in the previous two seasons. Similar to the 2019 event, strong winds made for tricky conditions on Saturday, while on Sunday weather conditions worsened resulting in abandonment of the meeting without any action on circuit.Continue reading

Round three of the series resumes on the 25th and 26th June at Anglesey Circuit, North Wales, this event following something of a sombre fortnight at the Isle of Man T.T. Races, where three sidecar competitors sadly lost their lives. The thoughts and condolences of all at the F.S.R.A. go out to the families, friends and teams involved, and no doubt there will be much reflection and memories shared over the course of the weekend.
It has been a long three years since the last visit of the British F2 Sidecars to Anglesey – obviously no thanks to the global pandemic. While the series was successfully run in 2021, unfortunately the planned visit to the Welsh island had to be cancelled owing to devolved government restrictions still being in place when the event was scheduled.Continue reading
With all eyes on a full Molson Group British Championship in 2022, it’s important to note the fourth round will be at the popular and now well-established Cadwell Park Sidecar Revival.
This event has become a favourite with teams and spectators alike, and with restrictions imposed by two years of pandemic now easing, the entry is expected to be bigger than ever.Continue reading
Maria Costello MBE enjoyed a weekend of racing both her sidecar and the Mark Coverdale Paton at the North East Motorcycle Racing Club’s Battle of Britain meeting that featured a round of the FSRA F2 British Championship at Croft.
Racing at the North Yorkshire track for the first time, Maria took the Mark Coverdale Paton as well as her sidecar to Dalton-on-Tees to help with learning the track she had never seen before.

Molson British Sidecar Championship, Cadwell Park 7/8 August
The celebrated Cadwell Sidecar Revival attracted a full entry of all manner of sidecars, with the main focus being on the three championship races.
Todd Ellis (Santander Salt Yamaha) had his French lady passenger alongside for his second British Championship appearance in as many weeks. Ben and Tom Birchall (Haith Honda) were more than keen to fight for their unbroken record of victories.
Absent from Cadwell Park were Sam and Adam Christie because of Adam’s Thruxton injuries. At this moment in time, the Christie bike will continue to be missing, with the ankle injury to Adam more serious than initially thought. Asked if he might be tempted to use a replacement passenger to protect their points, Sam said the family feeling was, that racing was on hold pending Adam’s recovery. Let’s all hope it is sooner rather than later.
FROM WIRRAL 100
After the success of its Oulton Park meeting in April, the Wirral Hundred club is hugely disappointed to announce the cancellation of its race meeting at Anglesey scheduled for the weekend of 26th & 27th June; this would have included rounds of the Club’s championships, together with rounds of the ACU British F2 Sidecar, FSRA Pre-Injection Sidecar, and Lansdowne British GP championships.Continue reading
All-female sidecar team Maria Costello MBE and Vicky Cooke head for Donington Park this weekend looking to build on their brilliant start to the 2021 race season.
Northamptonshire-based Costello and Yorkshire-based Cooke will compete on the LCR/Kawasaki F2 outfit in the ACU/FSRA British F2 Sidecar Championship at the famous Leicestershire circuit having been boosted by their outstanding effort in their opening event of the year at Oulton Park with the Wirral 100 Club.Continue reading
