FHO RACING SET FOR TT SIDECAR DEBUT WITH FOUNDS AND WALMSLEY

From FHO RACING HERE

THE FHO Racing name is set to make its Isle of Man TT Sidecar debut at this year’s event as it reveals an exciting new association with Peter Founds and Jevan Walmsley.

Faye Ho’s ever-expanding squad is delighted to be sponsoring multiple British F2 champion and TT podium-finisher Founds as he and Walmsley head back to the island to contest the iconic event.

Founds and Walmsley are regarded as one of the leading partnerships in the modern sidecar era and will set off fifth at this year’s TT.

Having traditionally run under the Team Founds banner, this year brings a change as the squad appears in FHO colours. The outfit has been out for a few events already this year, including the FSRA British F2 Championship, which Founds and Walmsley currently lead.

Peter Founds:

“It’s fantastic to have received the support from Faye and her FHO operation this year and it’s a pleasure to be able to run under the brand’s famous colours. The return of the TT is such a big deal for everyone and we all just can’t wait for it to begin.

“We’ve been running in the British F2 series this year because that’s the only place to really test your outfit and we’re also planning on dipping into a few of the BSB rounds over the year too.

“But obviously, the TT is our main thing. This is the main focus. Everything before the TT, all the races you do leading up to it, it’s all about getting ready for the TT. It’s such a big event for us and we want to deliver the best results we can.

“Getting the support from FHO is a real boost for us and we’re proud to run FHO colours this year – let’s hope we can give the brand something extra to cheer about at this TT.”

FHO Racing Team Principal Faye Ho:

“At FHO we are always looking to support talent, whether that is younger riders, female riders and now sidecar riders too! The Sidecar TT races are a huge part of TT fortnight and they tend to attract a lot of attention, even from people who may not have been into sidecars previously.

“Anyone who watches or has any involvement with sidecar racing will be familiar with the Founds name and I felt Pete and Jevan were the perfect team to get involved with, get behind and support.

“They’re currently leading the British F2 series and are a hardworking, dedicated and very talented crew and I can think of nobody better to get behind. I am so excited about seeing the FHO name head down Bray Hill on three wheels as well as two this year and I wish Pete and Jevan the very best of luck.”
