About

From a family of racers, Dad raced, both brothers, sister’s partner etc.. you get the idea.

Graham did TT on solos and drove sidecars, Ian did British championship and Euros driving sidecars, I passengered club British euro and worlds back when it was MotoGP and later world superbike.

I was a Passenger from 1990 to 2010 pretty much every year then took a break til 2017 when The Bears looked too much fun to ignore after doing a one off club meeting in 2016.

Been running this site since around 2000ish, at one stage and for years the biggest and busiest sidecar website on the internet, thankfully the pressure is now off with the big social networks taking so much traffic away but we are probably still the best informed around.

An electrical engineer by trade, testing and analysing the power that makes trains go.

Have ridden over 70 sidecars with over 60 different drivers but lost track now. . I am going to list them all out sometime, it’s just a shame I don’t have photos of them all but I was very much ‘living in the moment’ at the time 🙂

We have recently moved to Kent, a lovely little village called Marden and live in a beautiful old cottage that will cost us everything and take forever to fix up tidy…
The main part of the house was built in the late 1580s, then changed over the centuries.
